Baby Alfie Dead: A Study in Forced Democyde

Ladies and gentleman, after allowing due passage for the moment of world mourning and grief, there should be be no doubt that what we have watched play out in the forced starvation, neglect and killing of a two year old boy in Liverpool, England is exactly why we here in America can never, ever stop fighting to defend our Bill of Rights and our 2nd Amendment. Watching a boy with a terminal illness held under forcible neglect and governmental imprisonment as his life ebbed away is not only an absolute violation of parental rights and essential human rights and liberties but a case study in the evils of socialized medicine and amorality of the very kind contained in the framework of Obamacare. Death panels are real. And disarmed as they are, our British cousins could only look on in helpless grief. In the very land where William Wallace went to war over less.
A government powerful enough to give anything to you is equally powerful enough to do anything to you and take everything from you. Alfie Evans’ death is what happens when the government has all the power and citizens have none. Socialized medicine just a single step beyond ObamaCare would not even allow a little boy to be taken home by his parents to die, or for a family to pay out of pocket to be taken to Italy to get treatment to extend his life. If even the rudimentary choices of self-determination in either seeking additional treatment, or going home to die in peace are denied to individuals and families, what if anything is left of the dignity and independence of the common man? Nothing.
In a disarmed society, the government has absolutely nothing to fear in violating the essential rights and liberties of a family, or in forcing an outraged nation to watch a vulnerable child sent to his accelerated death by a secularist, statist cult of omnipotent government overreach. No matter the inhumanity suffered or the world astonishment at their plight, a disarmed people is left with no ability to counterbalance the tyrannical actions of a soulless and irresponsible government.
And this is and has been the socialist objective all along. To reduce the individual from a divine creation of the Almighty Creator to something less than even a decimal point, jot or tittle on a spreadsheet of political or policy convenience. Humanity, cheapened to an afterthought deserving of nothing more than hastened death demanded by calculator and stopwatch.
May we in America never be so domesticated nor pacified as to stand with hands in pockets as jack booted platoons of armed underlings stand their post and seal the death warrant of an innocent boy. May we cling tenaciously to the sanctity of life worth defending and the tools necessary to make a tyrannical government think more than twice about enforcing such injustice. And may we fight with renewed vigor to end the abortion holocaust of 61-million lost lives who became the earliest justifications of convenient death and are still being used to justify the cheapening of human life at every stage of existence.
In compassionate memory of Alfie Evans.
God speed Alfie. I watched your saga from afar knowing that I was powerless to help you in any way except for prayer.
If this is allowed to come to America, I hope that everyone of you leftist SOB’s are forced to watch as God’s gift of life and dignity is stolen from someone you love.
You elitist scum whose belief is that your children are too good to serve in the Military because you see this as a place for the lesser priviledged, I hope that this comes to your doorstep
Only when you are forced to walk in ”lesser’ people’s shoes and undergo the horror and trauma that you think that you and yours are beyond and should be shielded from because of name or wealth, will you finally understand that you are no better than the ‘least’ of us all.
In a way the French Revolution had the right idea.
God help you all should you push us to that point, but you should know this… You are close to that edge, and stories like this one that are all too scarily true, makes me want to be the one who gives you that little shove into oblivious insignificance.
I hope you realise by now that your article was complete and utter nonsense with no basis in fact. Quite disgusting to use the death of that poor child for a click bait story.
I’m afraid your opinion bears no relation to observable policy fact and barely warrants even the few poorly chosen pedestrian words of your complaint. You’re dismissed.
Where have you been all my life Shad Olson? I love your style! Keep up the great work.
