Emmy-winning journalist and conservative editorialist, Shad Olson has had his personal facebook account suspended indefinitely after posting to a political discussion group regarding the intolerance of the Christian faith by modern atheist American culture.

“So, irony of ironies, my clearly satirical commentary regarding the disparity of standards allowing all manner of atheist hatred for Christian belief in America is proven, by the banning of the very post condemning that duplicitous incivility by the God-denying, militant liberal left in our nation,” Olson said.

The suspension came after a post to the League of Political/Social Debate was reported to facebook by Trump-hating antagonists in that closed community who resort to censorship after being unable to prevail in actual debate. Olson suggested that a name change may be in order.

“I think it should be renamed the “League of Authoritarian Leftist Crybabies in the Celebration of Censorship,” Olson said. “These are not people who are capable of debate. They’re capable only of pansy tattle-tale whimpering and draconian authoritarian tactics when their ideas and their technique don’t prevail,” Olson said.

“It’s typical. The left has appointed themselves the arbiters of public information because their ideas simply can’t survive an actual trial of logic and historical example,” Olson said.

Even more ironic, the original version of the exact post reported to facebook overlords in the closed page of political discussions is still up and published public view on Olson’s personal page, a fact Olson noted in conversations with facebook’s “Community Standards” police.

“If the liberal left had the ability to win an argument on points in the history of social media, I think there’d be far less tendency to reach for the censorship switch in order to retaliate in vindictive and cowardly ways by getting the authoritarian leftists who govern social media to silence voices in lieu of rhetorical skill,” Olson said.

“In that group and across cyberspace, leftists are using bullying, intimidation, censorship and the cowardice of authoritarian appeal to silence dissent in order to clear space for the nonsensical ideology that is making them the laughing stock of the free world,” Olson said.

“The message from leftists has always been, “My ideas are so good, they shouldn’t have to withstand the rigor of opposition and debate,” Olson said. “Which is highly convenient, given that their ideas aren’t capable of that kind of scrutiny.”

“There is one side and one side only of the political conversation that resorts constantly to the suppression of opponents rather than free and open discourse that was the intended hallmark of free speech and open dialogue in that nation that invented free speech rights under our Constitution,” Olson said.

“The authoritarian tendency to stanch and silence opposing voices gives all the evidence needed regarding the dangers of a society run by intellectually stunted leftist control freaks who see it as their right to dictate what others can and cannot say.”

“Their tendency in the realm of free ideas is mirror image to their preferred practice economically, which is to eliminate and denude the competitive marketplace so that their historically disproven ideology can rise again, regardless of clear and repeated historical failures.”
