A public thank you card for a private act of kind and sensible notice of impending threat. The only thing that might cause more spontaneous cranial combustions in snowflake land would be a series of Putin introductory speaking appearances in Trump’s 2020 campaign tour with First Lady Melania as translator and Boris Johnson as sign language interpreter.
