Waiting for Dropped Shoes. Trump’s Iranian Gamble Sets Off Perpetual Motion Machine of Middle Eastern Intrigue

Did Trump just shove the world’s riskiest pacifier into the mouths of the neoconservative warhawking Deep State, or did they shove a dagger between his third and fourth ribs? It’s too soon to tell.

–After wisely and adroitly ignoring prefabricated irritants and attempted baiting events symbolized by not one but three false flag (proven and thanks, Seymour Hersh) chemical attacks in Syria, curiously incompetent tanker attacks in the Strait of Hormuz and what truly awakened citizens of this era of unmitigated pretext could only rightly acknowledge as an oblate push for an American war in Syria or Iran or both, Donald Trump, embattled by an attempted Arab Spring regime change in his own nation, has chosen an action with what can only be called a curiously imbalanced risk-reward prospectus, even for a riverboat gambler with a high stakes real estate resume.

–The killing of one bad man, cast against a nearly endless list of unknowable variables and unintended consequences of escalated tensions in the insane asylum of Mideast schism and superstition, one is left to wonder whether Trump’s actions are those of a calculating diplomatic linguist, or of a fully captured President who is now taking his foreign policy orders from military industrialists and the 9/11 shopkeepers who squandered untold blood and treasure in inflicting a scar of human atrocity on history’s telling.
