A compilation of leaked video from the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic paints a picture that is unmistakably larger than what Chinese government authorities have portrayed, in dozens of shocking images straight out of an apocalyptic horror novel. In one heartbreaking sequence, hospital workers in Wuhan work together to squeeze three young children into a single zip up bodybag, apparently in an effort to conserve supplies in the face of a growing catastrophe.

The footage is too tragic to believe. Even as Chinese leaders struggle pathetically to conceal the scale of what clandestine reports indicate is nothing short of a burgeoning global plague, a leaked video compilation posted to YouTube features a series of images that annihilate any narrative about the controllability or manageability of the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition to the shocking 45 second ordeal as emergency health workers shove the bodies of three children into what looks like a black duffle bag for remains disposal, other sequences show the by now familiar images of massive lines outside of hospitals

…And people being ripped forcibly out of their homes and apartments and carried away violently by the People’s Liberation Army.

But there are also things we’re seeing for the first time. Including long strings of ‘medical prisoners,’ chained together and forced to walk toward mass quarantine facilities that have been referred to by several Chinese nationals as ‘crematorium warehouses.’  Places where the concern is not medical treatment, but simply the observation of patients until symptoms present, at which time they are killed and incinerated, according to reports.

Here, a long trotline of people exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms are marched along with their hands bound to one another, in the direction of the ‘crematorium warehouse.’

In another shocking clip, a woman is torn from insider her car on a city street by half a dozen PLA soldiers in biohazard gear. It’s not clear why the woman is being carried away, but the scuffle is so violent that at one point the woman bursts into tears, telling officers, “You’ve broken my arm, now.”

“We wouldn’t have to hurt you if you would just do what we ask,” is the reply.

There are multiple images of people collapsed on the pavement and simply left to either die or suffer. Sometimes covered with sheets, indicating death, and sometimes unresponsive and motionless.
