CDC Has NO CLUE How Many Cases of COVID-19 Are Circulating in America. No One Does, and Anyone Who Says Otherwise is Lying.
–Four year low for the Dow Jones as coronavirus market collapse continues, capping a 4,000 point loss week with another 800 point decline.
–Short term guidance, declines in consumption across all sectors and massive impacts to air travel, hotel and leisure, and luxury retail, with China figuring heavily in component and raw materials disruption to global manufacturing which will stymie everything from tech stocks to chemicals to tennis shoes, not to mention the ‘Wal-Mart/Costco’ value customer retail.
–Longer term guidance, systemic impacts that will mean broader market pullbacks in projected earnings lasting the full year and beyond and a decline in petroleum demand that could test decade lows in the crude markets as WTI appears headed for $40 and below at a pace that mealy mouthed OPEC threats of supply cuts won’t halt. $25-30 a barrel is not out of the equation.
–Danish Intelligence threatens Shad Olson with prosecution in absentia for the publication of the Moroccan beheading video showing the violent deaths of a Danish and a Norwegian girl raped and beheaded by members of the Islamic State. Both Denmark and Norway have demanded the removal of the video from The Shad Olson Show website. Shad shares the profane and emphatic “HELL NO” issued to both nations.
