Echoing the recent public calls by Kentucky U.S. Senator Rand Paul, President Donald Trump appears poised to strip the security clearances of several Deep State operators who have formed the beating heart of the Clinton-Obama cabal assembled to oppose and destroy the Trump administration.  White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed Trump’s intentions at Monday’s briefing of the White House press corps.

SARAH HUCKABEE SANDERS: Not only is the president looking to take away [John] Brennan’s security clearance, he’s also looking into the security clearances of Comey, Clapper, Hayden, Rice, and McCabe. The president is exploring the mechanisms to remove security clearance because they’ve politicized and in some cases monetized their public service and security clearances, making baseless accusations of improper contact with Russia or being influenced by Russia against the president is extremely inappropriate. And the fact that people with security clearances are making these baseless charges provides inappropriate legitimacy to accusations with zero evidence.

Mainstream sources immediately pounced on Trump’s intentions as evidence of guilt and inappropriate use of executive authority, comparing it predictably to Richard Nixon’s firing of Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox in the infamous Saturday Night Massacre during the height of the Watergate scandal.

Trump supporters and Deep State critics meanwhile see the move as encouraging sign that President Trump is about to trigger the trapdoor on a farcical investigation formulated by Clinton loyalists and Obama holdovers in both the Department of Justice and intelligence agencies to surveil, defraud and sabotage the Trump candidacy and Presidency through clear abuses of investigative and prosecutorial power.  Social media immediately came alive with hopeful predictions that Trump’s revocation of security clearances for the Deep State cabal is obvious preface to revealing a wide levying of heretofore concealed criminal indictments against the same cast of players, James Comey, John Clapper, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok and Robert Mueller and dozens of others, for their clearly concocted ‘Russian Collusion,’ conspiracy to facilitate Trump’s ultimate removal from office, a master plan Peter Strzok referred to in text messages and emails as the proverbial, “insurance policy,” against a Trump victory in the 2016 Presidential election.

While weathering the ratcheting storm of the Mueller probe and the resulting media firestorm and leftist saber rattling, the confirmed existence of nearly 30,000 sealed Federal indictments in district courts across the nation has stood as a focal point of hope for Trump loyalists who believe those indictments are evidence of a coming dragnet of Deep State conspirators, traitors and operatives who represent the true epicenter of corrupt Washington bureaucracy and globalist entrenchment against a resurgence of national fortunes after long era of sabotage and destruction of American sovereignty. Sealed indictments are typically used in prosecuting individuals or criminal networks in cases where revealing names could lead individuals to flee or destroy evidence.
