Dem Activist Claims Trump ‘Hush Money Came from Campaign Funds,’ Gets Shut Down
WATCH: Democrat Spinstress Claims ‘Hush Money,’ Paid to Stormy Daniels Came from Trump Campaign, Complete Lie
They’ve been telling lies about Donald Trump for so long, they’re beginning to lose track of which ones they’ve told.
For anyone doubting the strength of the MSM Kool-Aid, or the power of propagandized distortion to influence political reality, consider the performance of Democrat strategist, Christy Setzer on Friday’s edition of Tucker Carlson. After gushing for several minutes about the exciting developments in the ShamWow-Mueller-Russia probe that is now nothing more than a procedural witch hunt to undermine GOP chances in the midterm elections, Democrat strategist, Christy Setzer doubled down on supposed criminality of the Trump administration by suggesting that hush money paid to aging opportunist pornstar Stormy Daniels had actually come from donations to the Trump campaign.
Host Tucker Carlson immediately pounced on the assertion, pushing back on the claim and even inveighing on fact checking by his producing staff to verify whether any allegation against Trump had included campaign finance violations as a result of the Stormy Daniels payout. Producers confirmed that no such allegation had been formally made and that testimony from both Trump attorney Michael Cohen and others had indicated the money came directly from Trump’s own pocket and not from campaign donations, (which by the way could be argued are one and the same, given Trump’s self-funded campaign.)
The encounter is just the latest evidence that all that really matters or has ever mattered about the Mueller muckery is that it sufficiently defame and degrade Trump’s political brand in the minds of a gullible and susceptibly brainwashed low information electorate.
