DC Showdown: Don Jr. Indictment Looms, Trump to Fire Sessions, Rosenstein

Donald Trump’s Rumored Longstanding Ultimatum to Mueller is About to Be Breached: “Don’t touch my family.”
Even as MSM headlines trumpet their orgiastic victory dance at the guilty verdicts of Trump campaign consultant, Paul Manafort on tax fraud charges and guilty pleas by Trump attorney Michael Cohen, (both completely unrelated to the Trump campaign) top Trump aide, Roger Stone says special counsel Robert Mueller is preparing to indict the President’s son, Donald Trump Jr. on charges of lying to the FBI.
The move is expected to be the triggering event in a long brewing high noon showdown between Trump and his own Department of Justice, headed by lame duck Attorney General Jeff Sessions, whose recusal from the ‘Russian Collusion,’ investigation allowed the appointment of Hillary-Obama loyalist Robert Mueller and the coopting of the Department of Justice by swamp creature, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, culminating in a two-year sham investigation alleging collusion between the Russian government and the Trump campaign that has revealed nothing except the criminality of the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee, et. al.
For those reasons and many more, Trump supporters of every shape, size and description will tell you that the appointment of Jeff Sessions as Attorney General has been Trump’s largest blunder and most damaging mistake. Now, sources on Capitol Hill, including top staff for conservative D.C. lawmakers say President Donald Trump is in the final stages of preparations for the firing of both Sessions and Rosenstein and that those firings could come within days. And the DOJ purge will likely require more dismissals and the appointment of a new Attorney General.
“Why the hell weren’t Jeff Sessions, Rod Rosenstein, Robert Mueller, (insert cabal player here) fired a long time ago?”
“Why the hell weren’t Jeff Sessions, Rod Rosenstein, Robert Mueller, (insert cabal player here) fired a long time ago?”
The $64-million question. Trump’s Waterloo. The answer should be as concerning to the nation as the need for the question and it involves a landmark change in line of succession at the Department of Justice undertaken by Trump opponents for precisely the scenario that has now been set in motion ahead of November’s all important midterm elections.
Firing Mueller, Rosenstein, Sessions, et. al., for their clearly biased, clearly corrupt, clearly concocted and clearly treasonous actions against Donald Trump and the President’s inner circle, only removes the first layer of nefarious actors aligned against the Trump populist resurgence. And even the overturning of measures taken by Trump’s nefarious predecessor to frustrate the President’s attempts to hire a loyal Attorney General (both to stop the legal warfare against his inner circle and to go after the actual criminals guilty of things like selling Uranium to Russians for donations to the Clinton Foundation, covering up an investigation of said foundation and giving Hillary Clinton a free pass for mishandling classified information and destroying evidence thereof involving her private email server) won’t eliminate the need for an even deeper top-level purge to get to clear air.
Best evidence indicates that in addition to Mueller and Rosenstein, Trump would have to fire as many as four spots into the depth chart to get anyone out of the way who might be willing to continue the establishment plot against his White House. A bad option from every angle, and here’s why:
Obama Stacked the DOJ Deck Against Trump Prior to Departure. Of course he did.
Prior to Trump’s inaugural, outgoing President Barack Obama stacked the DOJ deck* by shifting the line of ascendancy in the Attorney General ranks, placing a District of Columbia prosecutor and a California attorney rungs three, four and six on the ladder. Since Deputy Attorney General (and arch Clinton criminalist) Rod Rosenstein and Associate Attorney General Jess Pannucio (ideologically promising, but only 37 years old and looks 20) are next in line, lower echelons of the depth chart become more troubling by the day.
Just weeks after assuming office, Trump made moves to remedy the poisoning of the well against his Presidency. But observers believe he may have chosen as poorly in his replacements as he did when he hired Jeff Sessions to take the AG role, empowering Virginia Eastern District U.S. Attorney, G. Zachary Terwilliger, Illinois prosecutor, Zachary Fardon, and Missouri federal prosecutor, Tammy Dickinson, as replacements for the Obama sabotage appointments.
Roger Stone and others are on record saying that all three individuals fall far short of Trump loyalty in their political etymology and the dots are easy to connect. Terwilliger, whose permanent nomination to Virginia’s Eastern District is still pending before the Senate Judiciary Committee, comes highly recommended by U.S. Senator and Hillary running mate Tim Kaine and served as criminal counsel to Senator Chuck Grassley. Meantime, Obama appointees and dyed-in-the-wool liberals, Dickinson and Fardon are devastatingly poor choices in light of present developments.
And all of that means:
Trump MUST Fire Sessions and Rosenstein, Appoint an Acting AG From Senate-Confirmed Staff and Clean House.
Trump MUST Fire Sessions and Rosenstein, Appoint an Acting AG From Senate-Confirmed Staff and Clean House.
The Federal Vacancies Reform Act allows a President to designate as “acting” Attorney General, anyone from his Senate-confirmed cabinet, or anyone who served in the Department of Justice during the past calendar year, working at GS-15 or higher on the Federal Pay Scale. As acting AG, that person could fulfill any and all required actions of the office even pending unlikely confirmation from a lame duck U.S. Senate, or guaranteed rejection by a hostile majority should Democrats gain control of Congress in November. That would allow ample leeway and time for stringent action to root out the Mueller witch hunt and or begin proceedings for actual crimes by the deep state’s worst actors.
With the midterm elections just weeks away, Trump’s best move is simply to remove both Sessions and Rosenstein, appoint a new AG from outside the list of ascendancy and start fresh with a dismissal of Mueller and the formation of a new upper echelon of DOJ prosecutors.
The Democrats will cry holy hell…but that’s a given regardless of outcome.
