Blue Puddle: Obama’s Nevada Crowd Dwarfed by Massive Houston Trump Rally
Pictures say it all. Barack Obama’s pitiful attempt to rally the blue base in Nevada fizzled like a bottle rocket against a tsunami Monday, even as President Donald Trump’s Houston rally drew upwards of 105,000 with attendees camping overnight for a chance to get inside the event. Obama drew barely 400 people to his rally in support of Democrat U.S. Senate candidate Jacky Rosen.
Obama is countering Trump head to head in the Nevada U.S. Senate race between incumbent Republican Dean Heller and Democrat challenger, Jacky Rosen. Heller is the only Republican senator seeking reelection in a state that fell narrowly to Hillary Clinton in 2016.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s Houston rally shattered attendance records both inside and outside the Toyota Center drawing more than 105,000.
